Carol Johnson, 80, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 15, 2026. Born and raised in Reading, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose love for her family was at the heart of her life.
Carol worked for many years at Palmer’s Chocolate Factory, where she was admired for her dedication and the sweet treats she would bring home for her grandchildren—gestures that became treasured memories for her family.
A sharp-minded and spirited woman, Carol loved spending her time doing crossword puzzles. Her family admired her honesty and straightforward nature; she spoke her mind and loved deeply. Her great-grandchildren, Nylah Page and Suray Page, brought her endless joy, keeping her laughing, helping with puzzles, and filling her days with love and companionship.
She is survived by her daughter, Belinda L. Johnson; her grandchildren, Michael Cintron, Timothy Cintron, Ramon Acevedo Jr., Brittany Acevedo, and Joey Acevedo; her great-grandchildren, Nylah Page, Suray Page, Kelsey Vernon Cintron, Michael Cintron Jr., Joseph Vernon Cintron, Jacob Vernon Cintron, and Nicholas Vernon Cintron; her great-great-grandson, Finley Grey McFadden; her son-in-law, Ramon Luis Acevedo Sr.; and her grandchildren’s partners, Roxanne Jacobs and Gladys Gonzalez, who were beloved members of her extended family.
Carol’s passing was unexpected, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Over the past year, her daughter Belinda provided devoted full-time care, supported by family members who offered love and help in every way they could.
She will be remembered for her strength, honesty, warmth, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the laughter she shared and the lives she touched.
